Services Making A Difference Inc. (MADI) Provides

MADI assists faith-based and non-faith based front-line organizations
and their collaborators enhance what they are already doing, and in
the process add value to the services they are providing...all for the
glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Process

1. The organization desiring assistance requests MADI to provide
services. MADI  will assess the fit between current priorities, volunteer
consultant availability, and the requesting organization's needs. Only IRS
approved 501c3's will be considered.

2. If approved in step 1, MADI  forms a Strategic assessment team of
experienced servant leaders to meet your needs

3. The organization receiving assistance forms a core team of internal
personnel and external volunteers to assist in the assessment and
implementation processes

4. MADI's and the organization's teams assess the organization's
capabilities and needs using the
Leader to Leader Institute
self-assessment process and other best practices assessment tools

5. The teams develop recommendations and implementation plans
based upon
best practices and key success factors

6. The organization's leadership approves the recommendations and an
implementation plan is developed

7. The organization's core team helps guide the implementation of the
recommendations with MADI's assistance

8. MADI follows-up to help the organization get a win-win outcome

Sample MADI key skill sets

1.Operations Management  - Facilitates the servant leader's  team's
assessment process and guides all team member recommendations
into a feasible strategic/business final action plan that is consistent with
the organization's strategic goals and objectives. A great deal of focus is
on efficiency and effectiveness of processes. Final plan must result in
increased capacity to absorb increasing demand, greater efficiency in
doing the same, and increased organizational attractiveness to funders,
donors, and business opportunity.  Program Manager must be able to
manage a multi-disciplined teams and resolve problems and conflict
effectively and timely. PM must be able to ensure all project planning is
world class.

2.
Business and Strategic Planning - ensures the organization has
completed the strategic and business planning processes. Facilitates
this process to completion.

3.
Technical/Information Systems Management - facilitates the
assessment of organizational technology, communications, facilities,
equipment, and their appropriateness for helping the organization
achieve it's strategic goals.

4.
Human Resource Management -  facilitates the development of  best
practices recommendations regarding the organization's utilization of
individuals to achieve organizational objectives.  Key areas of interest
are: Staffing, Employee/Leadership Development, Compensation and
Benefits, Safety and Health, Employee and Labor Relations, policies and
procedures, and internal/external communications.

5.
Legal Assessment  - provides legal insight to issues discovered
during the assessment process.  Assists in establishment of
Community Development Corporations and 501c3 entities.

6.
Operations improvement - facilitates the development of best
practices recommendations which assist the firm's meeting and
exceeding its and all sake-holders' operational expectations.  Key
outcome: ensure recommendations lead to added organizational
capacity and efficiency to do more with less.

7.
Financial Management - facilitates the development of
recommendations to the organization's accounting practices and
procedures and makes best practice recommendations to achieve
strategic goals.

9.
Board Operations - facilitates the development of recommendations
to optimize Board effectiveness.

10.
Quality Assurance -  facilitates the development of
recommendations to assist the organization in  "Doing It Right  The First
Time" and avoiding recurring problems. This includes ensuring they
understand root cause analysis and how to implement irreversible
corrective actions.

11. Marketing, Sales, Public Relations Management - facilitates the
development of recommendations to assist the organization  in
achieving its market expectations.
